Certification Process Overview
In order to gain access to the Hospitality Solutions (HS) APIs, you must first complete an integration certification process. The following steps outline the process:
Ready to Move Forward?
- Contact us so that we can understand your needs and discuss possible integration options with you.
- Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to gain access to the APIs and be provided with a test property in the HS Certification environment which you may modify as needed to support your specific requirements.
Start Building
- Develop the code adhering to the message formats described in the documentation including Success and Error scenarios.
Test Case Review
- Test your application for all the scenarios you want to certify with Hospitality Solutions.
- Submit samples of messages from your application to the Certification team for review.
- Test case reviews will take place in the order they are received by the Certification team, and the length of the review will be based on the results of the tests, volume and complexity of the supported use cases.
End-to-End Integration Testing
- After the test case review is complete, HS will schedule a date(s) for the end-to-end Integration testing.
- Integration testing will require you to post messages from your application to the HS Certification system.
- An HS team member must provide a sign-off that the messages meet the specified requirements.
- If testing takes longer than the allocated number of days, there may be additional costs involved.
Beta Testing
- Identify the pilot hotel that will be used to beta-test your integration with HS.
- Testing between your application and HS must occur in a production environment.
Congratulations!
Your application is now considered certification complete
Note: At each stage of the certification process, you should address any outstanding issues before progressing to the next step. Keep in mind that any expressed timelines are approximate and are subject to change. Furthermore, the Certification environment is subject to frequent development updates; therefore, brief system outages may need to occur on occasion without prior notification.
