Certification Process

In order to gain access to the Sabre Hospitality Solutions (SHS) APIs, you must first complete an integration certification process. The following steps outline the process:

Ready to Move Forward?

  • Contact US so that we can understand your needs and discuss possible integration options with you.
  • Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to gain access to the APIs and be provided with a test property in the SHS Certification environment which you may modify as needed to support your specific requirements.

Start Building

  • Develop the code adhering to the message formats described in the documentation including Success and Error scenarios.

Test Case Review

  • Test your application for all the scenarios you want to certify with Sabre.

  • Test case reviews will take place in the order they are received by the Cert team, and the length of the review will be based on the results of the tests.
  • Submit samples of messages from your application (i.e., RQ and RS files with soap envelope) to the SHS Integration team for review.

Note -- The files must be sent in a zip file, using the following naming convention: xxxxx.sabre.zip. Please email the files to: SHSIntegrationCertification@sabre.com

End-to-End Integration Testing

  • After the test case review is complete, SHS will schedule a date for the end-to-end Integration testing.
  • Integration testing will require you to post messages from your application to the SHS Certification system.
  • An SHS team member must provide a sign-off that the messages meet the specified requirements.
  • If testing takes longer than the allocated number of days, there will be additional costs involved.

Note -- A sample test plan will be provided to you in advance.

Beta Testing

  • Identify the pilot hotel that will be used to beta-test your integration with SHS.
  • Testing between your application and SHS must occur in a production environment.
  • Beta testing runs a minimum of 2 weeks to make sure there are no issues.

Note -- To complete Beta testing, the hotel will need to meet a minimum of 100 messages, with a success rate of 90% or more, for each use case being certified over the 2 weeks. If the message volume is not met over the 2-week period, the certification team may decide to extend the beta period.

Congratulations!

Your application is now considered certification complete

Note -- At each stage of the certification process, you should address any outstanding issues before progressing to the next step. Keep in mind that any expressed timelines are approximate and are subject to change. Furthermore, the Certification environment is subject to frequent development updates; therefore, brief system outages may need to occur on occasion without prior notification. If you have questions, please send an email to: SHSIntegrationCertification@sabre.com.
